Lauryn Wendus, Founder of Next Door Creations, LLC

Lauryn Wendus founded Next Door Creations in 2014 following the establishment of her children’s book and product company, Oli Kids Co. First-time authors and small business owners began to seek out her guidance as they navigated the journey of entrepreneurship. Lauryn loved helping other business owners achieve their lifelong dreams, and word-of-mouth referrals quickly grew Next Door Creations into a full-time business.

The name Next Door Creations is inspired by the idea that the next door of opportunity is always right around the corner. Whether the “next door” is a spark of the imagination, an event you attend, or a person you meet, something, somehow, will always appear, and the opportunity to seize a new path will emerge. From there are infinite possibilities; endless ways to create something new.

Lauryn graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Business Administration, major in accounting. She began her career in public accounting and private equity, with additional experience in the public and non-profit sectors. Lauryn’s experience in various industries, coupled with her own experience as an entrepreneur, has given her a unique perspective to help small business owners overcome challenges and achieve success.
